The Three Heroes of Week 11

3) Turner Gill

Watching a team go 1-11, really makes me appreciate Turner and the fact that we can complain about having 4 or 5 wins. Turner answered my pleas by going for the score at the end of the half and finished hard. I’d describe Buffalo in 2009 as Jainist Monk-like…trying to play while being cautious not to harm any living creature. Wednesday, Turner put Jainism away and put the hurt on Miami with a 24 point beat down that bodes well for the future toughness of our team.

2) Zach Maynard

Turnover = loss, No Turnovers = Win. Zach isn’t the scared QB he was the first 6 games of the season. I like his poise and his relationship with Terrell Jackson and Marcus Rivers, while frustrating this season, will be beneficial as those two WR’s become the top options next year.

1) Brandon Thermilus

The “Son of Alonzo” ran for 126 yards on 11 carries, a ridiculous 11.5 yards per carry. He scored on a 29 yard reception and added 2 rushing touchdowns. This game was Starks-like and makes me wonder where this guy has been all year. Thermilus has been the top heavy dradle that falls over at the slightest push, last week, he spun indefinitely.
