UB Mixology 101: The Jamey Richard

The original drink of UB football captures the essences of one of UB's most successful Offensive linemen of all time.  It is a tailgate classic as you only need your can of monster, and if your lucky you can travel from tailgate to tailgate in search for someone who will top you off with a little Jameson.  Plus the inconspicuous can hides the sweet forbidden alcohol nectar inside for when your tailgating at a crappy boring religious college, (Baylor I'm looking at you).

Recipe after the jump...

Components:

1 Can Low Carb Monster Energy drink (the blue can)
Jameson Whiskey.

Recipe:

1) Open  your can of monster, take a few drinks of just monster.

  • This initial serving is important, there is typically a lull between arriving at the tailgate, and when the alcohol kicks in, this first drink of monster insures that your energy stays at the consistent level of 110%.

2) Add Jameson Whiskey to taste.

  • Like a 3rd and long tests the heart of the offensive lineman, this drink finds out what you have in you, while still tasting good.
3) Add more Jameson Whiskey
  • Any offensive lineman will tell you once you get inside the 10 you get in a 3 point stance run straight ahead and punch it in for six.  Likewise when your can starts feeling a little light, your drink is coming to an end, its time to add more whiskey and finish the job.
This drink like Jamey Richards himself is gritty and prepares the tailgater to unleash their inner monster all over the opposition.
